MOED de ARMAS & SHANNON Architects
666 Fifth Avenue
Originally built in 1957, 666 Fifth featured an outdated outdoor entry sequence that was no longer suitable for contemporary use. The new, enclosed entry lobby uses glass-paneled walls and a granite floor as a soft backdrop for dramatic terra cotta warrior statues. Working with the Noguchi Foundation, MdeAS also oversaw the restoration of the Isamu Noguchi foundation, "The Landscape of the Clouds," returning the sculpture to its original condition.
