MdeAS Managing Partner Dan Shannon and Architecture Plus Information (A+I)'s Co-founding Principal Brad Zizmor recently gave The Real Deal a preview tour of Vornado Realty Trust's PENN 2.

Our collaboration with A+I was guided by the notion of “designing from the inside out”. As a result of new workplace flexibility, our work lives have started to drift down from the top floors of our buildings into the lower levels, and spill out onto the sidewalks. An office worker’s experience begins before they enter the building, and in fact, starts as they navigate the building’s surroundings. PENN 2 is an exemplar of this modern mode of work, making for a better, more vibrant and energized city.
