The JACX Named Finalist in Two Categories for NYCxDESIGN Awards

MdeAS is excited to announce that  The JACX has has been selected as a finalist for Interior Design Magazine's NYCxDesign Awards in two categories: Commercial Lobby/Amenity Space and Outdoor Space! Thank you to Interior Design Magazine and NYCxDesign for the recognition. Congratulations to Tishman Speyer, HM White, as well as the entire design & construction team. Learn more about The JACX below.

Featuring sweeping views on all sides, the towers are connected by an expansive terrace meadow that serves as a “quad” where tenants can socialize, relax, dine, and work. This lush space is a botanical wonder, with over 25,000 flowering bulbs and 100 trees selected to ensure year-round greenery.  This amazing space acts as a natural oasis in its urban setting. The towers extend down to the base of the building, where their concrete cores are exposed at mirrored lobbies on the ground floor. The design of these lobbies incorporates reclaimed old growth white pine wood fins and the raw, board-formed concrete of the building cores to achieve a visual richness without sacrificing the desired simplicity of the modern industrial aesthetic.
