OHNY Weekend 2022 | 200 Park Avenue

Open House New York Weekend is an annual festival where hundreds of noteworthy and significant spaces across the five boroughs of New York City open up their doors to welcome the public to foster discovery and delight as well as deepen their understanding of how design can strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

This year, MdeAS partnered with Irvine Company and Tishman Speyer to showcase our recently completed renovation work at 200 Park Avenue. In two guided tour sessions, Principal Mike Zaborski and Associate Linh Ðàm walked participants from the Grand Central Passageway, home to the restored Josef Albers mural Manhattan, through to the updated Vanderbilt entrance lobby, newly created visitor reception lounge, and 45th Street entrance and exterior refurbishment. Along the way, they shared hidden details within the project and answered questions ranging from the history of the building to design decisions behind the revitalization. We hope participants left the tour with an insider perspective that gives them a greater appreciation for the historic New York landmark.

Thank you Open House New York for coordinating the 20th Annual Weekend! We are honored to be amongst the incredible lineup and look forward to continuing this partnership. It was a privilege to share 200 Park Avenue with the public and architectural community, and we can’t wait to see what upcoming years have in store.
